Emmanuel Nepalese Church was officially started on March 31, 2014 with hardly handful of families in the apartment with prayers. It was a big risk to have a fellowship in the apartment as we were prone to having conflicts with other tenants because of possible noise and disturbance. God has been so good to us that there was no issue at all with the fellow tenants. Gradually congregation grew bigger as more fellow believers moved in from other provinces. Therefore, we decided to rent a hall for our Sunday service. We found a church basement suitable for our congregation and we rented this facility since February 14, 2015 until July 8, 2018, which is located in 973 Pillette Rd. Windsor ON, They decided to sell building and we moved out to Calvary Community Church and we have been renting this facility since July 15, 2018.

“Church” does not mean a physical building or organization; the original Greek word “Ekklesia” meant “a gathering assembly” and that is what God designed the church to be- a group of fellow believers who comprises to be a part of body of Christ where Christ himself is the Head. (Ephesians 5:23) The Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the founder of church. (Matthew 16:18, 1 Corinthians 3:11)

Jesus Christ is the founder of church and no power of darkness will ever be victorious over the church. No man can lay another foundation without Him.

The church is a global Godly family having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, inwhom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.(Ephesian 2:20-22) The church should be radiant, without spot, or wrinkle or any other blemish because God himself is holy.

PURPOSES OF THE CHURCH

1. To enlarge the territory of the Kingdom of God according to the great commission of Jesus Christ and to be a living testimony until the end of the earth.( Matthew 28:18-20), Mark 16:15)

2. To Worship the sovereign God in the Spirit and the truth (John 4:24) and to prepare ourselves for the second coming of Christ. (Revelation 19:7, Ephesians 5:27)

3. To enhance the spiritual maturity of the church members through the teaching of Bible, training, workshop, seminars and conferences. ( 2 Timothy 2:15, 2 Timothy 4:2)

4. To encourage the fellow believers to set an example of Christ for our community and the entire nation. (Matthew 5:13-16, Mark 9:50, Ephesians 4:30-32)

5. To connect with other churches with the same doctrines and maintain the unity to fulfill the goal of church and to work in collaboration to meet the needs of the church.(Ephesians 4:15-16)
